Perfect for both first-time and seasoned contemporary dance audiences—experience captivating moments of sensitivity and dynamism at our annual free, family-friendly series, Dance at Dusk!

2025’s programme features an extended 25-minute excerpt from Festival Director Kuik Swee Boon’s As It Fades, performed by T.H.E Second Company. Rooted in themes of memory, heritage, and the ephemeral nature of tradition, As It Fades invites audiences to reflect on the threads that connect us to the past and shape our present identities.

Following the success of 2023’s shorter presentation, this year’s performance once again integrates poetic live audio description by Access Path Productions—enhancing the experience for visually impaired audiences while offering all audiences a fresh, contemplative lens on the choreography.

About T.H.E Second Company

T.H.E Second Company was founded in 2008 alongside T.H.E Dance Company, with the aim of identifying and nurturing aspiring dance artists towards a semi-professional standard in contemporary dance. Over the years, T.H.E Second Company has expanded its reach, offering opportunities to individuals with a demonstrated aptitude for dance, including serious dance hobbyists and emerging choreographers.

Conditions of Entry

• This is a free-entry performance with no reservations required.
• Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

General

• Doors open 15 minutes before the show starts.
• In the interest of all patrons, latecomers may be directed to designated seating areas to minimise disruption.
• Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent mode.
• Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue. The house rules are displayed within the venue premises.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

• Flash photography, videography and audio recording are not permitted during the performance.
