Because the festival was designed to cater to a variety of interests, you will have to make a choice between some programmes that take place concurrently. Some programmes however will be for all participants regardless of which route they belong to.

A. ICAF Hub Singapore: The Gathering is designed for community arts practitioners – whether you have been practising for decades or just starting out, or anywhere in between. Our programmes are designed to focus on mutual learning. We always have something to learn from the experience and perspective of others’ practices within their unique contexts.
We also welcome students interested in the field and professionals interested in the intersection of community arts and their sphere of work.
ICAF Hub Singapore is also a platform designed for networking and meeting practitioners from different countries.
Q. What does my festival pass cover?
Your pass will cover all the programmes you choose to attend and all meals during the festival schedule. Breakfast will however not be covered.

Yes. Please refer to the pricing information above.
Q. Am I able to attend all the programmes?
We wish we could too. As we designed the festival thinking practitioners would have varied interests, we curated the programme accordingly.
If you are a performing artist or if you are interested in working with differently abled communities in a performance setting, the Masterclass route is designed for you in mind.
We also designed the Special Interest Circles (SIC) for practitioners/artists/arts managers interested in either producing for community arts, dramaturgy in community arts setting or youth development work.

On the Masterclass Route, you will attend Relational Choreography masterclass by DIK Danstheater, as well as Performances, Morning Huddle and Site Visits (you will visit 3 sites, 2 of which you must make a choice).
About Relational Choreography
In this masterclass, DIK Danstheater (The Netherlands) will introduce participants to the Relational Choreography method, developed by Jordy Dik over the past five years and applied globally. Along with choreographer Loura van Krimpen and musical collaborators Vincent Dankelman and Oene van Geel, Jordy will guide participants through this inclusive approach to dance.
Relational Choreography centres on the principle of call and response, allowing individuals to dance from authentic, instinctive impulses. The method fosters both personal creative awakening and collective power, focusing on interconnections between performers and encouraging participants to spontaneously respond to each other.
This approach makes dance accessible to all, even those who are less familiar with it or who find memorisation challenging. Rather than focusing on preset movements, you will explore improvisation and relational meaning, bridging movement and theatrical expression for a deeply engaging experience. Throughout this masterclass, you will collaborate intensely with fellow participants to create a performance that reflects your journey together.
