Parents of one, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, shared their stories about parenthood’s hardship. The couple who welcomed a baby girl via surrogate back in January, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, shared an exclusively sweet family portrait on May 8th, 2022. The 29-year-old singer reminisced on welcoming the moment when his first child joined them earth-side earlier this year in the caption of his post. This publication was stood the same time with Mother’s day, which also became the first celebration for Chopra as a mom.
“On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” he stated, before announcing, “after 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”
“Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is,” Jonas resumed. “We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way.”
The father of one then stated that his family’s “next chapter begins now,” adding, “our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it M! Mommy and Daddy love you.” Chopra commented on the post with “I love you” and added a teared-up face emoji and a heart eyes emoji. She then also shared the same photograph on her personal Instagram page, as well as a prevalence of the same message in the caption as her husband’s.
To put the cherries on top in her post, nevertheless, the actress penned to her beau, that she’s thankful for Jonas’s existence for making her a mom of a beautiful daughter.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in two splendid and intimate ceremonies back in Chopra’s hometown in Jodhpur, India, in 2018. Both of them celebrated their happy day for five days in different cultures and religions to honor the unification of Jonas’s and Chopra’s backgrounds.
