Synopsis

A heartwarming ride through the chaos of life, seen through the eyes of a puppet who's anything but ordinary.

Meet Fred, a puppet with a lot of personality who’s trying to make sense of a confusing world. From dealing with endless paperwork to finding his place among people who don’t always understand him, Fred appears to be in a world that's rigged against him. But despite the challenges, Fred’s pursuit of a normal life is filled with moments of unexpected joy.

Meet Fred is a show that proves even the smallest among us have the biggest stories to tell. Filled with humour and full of heart, this charming tale is sure to keep you smiling long after the curtain falls.

SRT’s Inclusive Young Company (IYC) is a holistic theatre-making programme for young persons and adults between the ages of 16 – 35, who identify as d/Deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent. IYC features professional masterclasses and mentorship led by international artist Grace Lee-Khoo and various guest facilitators, which will provide a platform for the development of your creative potential as an independent performer and theatre-maker.
