Justin Timberlake seems to be a die-hard adherent of the “forever young” principle. This thing was revealed when he appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 (local time). As a guest who has been invited and come 24 times to the TV show, the “SexyBack” singer answered some interesting questions to reveal his hidden sides. The Q&A session is famously titled Burning Questions in which Ellen DeGeneres, as the host, will ask controversial and deep influential questions.
One question asked by DeGeneres made Timberlake reflect back to himself. The 64-year-old emcee asked, “What did you think you would’ve grown out of by now but you still haven’t?” To pay response to the question, the former NSYNC personnel initially joked, “the Ellen underwear you gave me”, referring to a pair of boxer briefs that the host gave to him in 2003.
After laughing at the joke, Timberlake answered thoughtfully that the thing that has not been lost from him until now is his childish side. Responding to Timberlake’s answer, DeGeneres also felt the same and actually said that it (the childish side) is a good thing to stay young at heart. Both of them agree that being childish helps them to remain youthful.
However, Justin Timberlake added that after becoming a father, he felt his childish side came more alive. This matter happens due to, “you get to see the world again through their eyes [his kids].”
To put cherries on top of his answer, the singer who’s also the husband of Jessica Biel, shared a piece of good advice on raising children. “Keep your kids as young as they can be for as long as possible,” he told, adding that it’s the secret to maintaining his youth. “Don’t let them grow up too fast“, he finished.
Justin Timberlake married Jessica Biel in 2012. From their marriage, they shared two sons named Silas (7-year-old) and Phineas who will soon turn two. The couple is known to remain solid amid some oblique rumors and Timberlake is known as a very romantic husband. The super romantic song, “Mirrors”, which was released in 2013, represents that he has found his soulmate as well as a part of himself in Jessica Biel.
