Sadie Sink Talks about “Stranger Things” Season 4

Counting the days of the upcoming release of Stranger Things season 4 volume 1 on May 27th, the hot discussion regarding its storyline is still circling among the community of horror-mystery serial lovers. In an official trailer that went public last month, people grasped some points that will be the peak moments of this season, which include, the reappearance of Jim Hopper (David Harbour), Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) who loses her power, and Max (Sadie Sink) who allegedly gained a power.

Positive responses from people who have been following this series since 2016 immediately overwhelmed the comment section. The more-or-less three-minute video has been successful to give off a sweet initial imprint for the fans, considering that it’s been three years since the last season (a.k.a. the making of the season 4). Regarding the overall concept of season 4, people are already convinced that this season will deliver a spectacular storyline, mesmerizing visual effects, and highly calculated scenes. This something may be true because Sadie Sink, who played Max (one of the members of the Hawkins’ child gang) has confirmed that this season is nothing like the previous seasons.

The making of Stanger Things season 4 which took three years highly claims to paid off the waiting game. Sadie Sink said that this season will be “most bizarre” or at least we can say, will leave people in awe. In an interview with People, the actress who was also featured in Fear Street Part 2: 1978 said that she and the rest of the cast “get to explore a lot of different themes and different sides of the characters that everyone knows and loves, so I’m looking forward to it”. The 20-year-old actress also hinted to us that the bad guy in this season is so scary to the point where some episodes are so wild.

Stranger Things season 4 volume 2, which will be released on July 1st, marked the last moments for the cast and crews to wrap up the process. Sink herself seems to enjoy the time she spent and the experience she had, with everyone in this series. In fact, if the Duffer brothers (as creators and directors of the series) ever decide to continue for more seasons, Sink “would go on forever if they wanted to”. To sum everything up, Sink said that they are more than work partners. “We’ve built a family at this point and it’s a really special and unique bond. I’m going to miss everyone”, said Sink.

The title doesn’t resonate with the story, may or may not be, unfortunately…

Korean drama lovers may be familiar with this series. Happiness, which officially premiered on November 5, 2021, is now available on Netflix. Despite the fact that the title speaks to us about rainbows and butterflies, the story isn’t like what you think it was. This drama stars Han Hyo-joo, Park Hyung-sik, and Jo Woo-jin. Inspired by the current situation, which is about the COVID-19, this series twists the plot just a little bit since the story begins with a drug that is spread in the community and creates an emergence of a new virus. The drug is apparently going to make its consumers lose their consciousness and turn into bloodthirsty beasts, a.k.a zombies.

Situations are getting out of hand around, since the virus is increasingly infecting the residents of the apartment, the place where Jung Yi Hyun (Park Hyung-sik) and Yoon Sae Bom (Han-Hyo-joo) live as a newlywed couple. In the midst of the increasingly spreading virus, they must find a cure to cure the people who have been exposed to the virus. And of course, do everything they can in order to survive and remain humans. Not only that, the two must find a way to learn everything about the zombies every time they encounter them.

Just like in any other story, there are always the good guys and the bad guys. Jung Yi Hyun and Yoon Sae Bom have to face many struggles in their journey to get out alive, save others, and also find the cure. Will they succeed in saving themselves and everyone around them? Serving you the chill, the tense, the sorrow, and the joy, this series is for sure a must-added to your list!

3 Main Reasons Why “In From The Cold” is a Must Watch

She’s not your ordinary mother.

Another spy-thriller series is coming your way. In From The Cold, which was released on January 28th, 2022, still receives a lot of attention and it’s for some reasons. The eight-episode series tells the story of an ex-Russian spy, Anya—well, a mother with a daughter now, named Jenny—who is haunted by the dirty works she had done in her past. It seems like burying her past doesn’t mean it can stay buried, nor does quitting from a semi-blackmail request from a necis CIA guy, Chauncey Lew, and his IT-freak friend, Chris. Jenny has to perform several undercover actions to unveil a series of mysterious acts of violence by random people while accompanying her daughter in an ice skating tournament in Madrid, Spain. Her struggle to keep secrets from various parties, including her past from her daughter, spices up this high-end spy-thriller series.

Without revealing too much of the storyline, BookMyShow managed to sum up the reasons why In From The Cold is not for you to miss. Buckle up as you will see a new addition of one of the badass female spies to ever exist, and more elevated aspects!

1. A female lead character packed with attitude and skills

As we can tell from earlier discussions, this series mainly focuses on Jenny Franklin  (Margarita Levieva). Just like any other KGB asset, Jenny is not for the weak. Her senses, her spirit, her mental endurance, and her physical skills will forever be part of her despite the fact that she had turned them off for years, ever since she decided to have a normal life.

Her strong character to get things done with her own sadistic ways may create such dramatic disagreements with Chauncey (Cillian O’Sullivan) and Chris (Charles Brice) however, she relies heavily on morality and does have a soft spot for innocent helpless people. Talking about girl power, this character surely gives off the right vibes!

2. Advanced technology and advanced skills

Advanced technology paired with excellent skills, name a better combo than this we dare you. Camouflaging like a chameleon, shape-shifting (yes, you read it right, shape-shifting), to recording through a transparent lens, you will be served some of the most bizarre and up-to-date technologies to help Jenny and the good guys reveal the bad guys.

Your expectation and imagination will be pitched as you’re going to see some of the most unthinkable movements and technologies in In From The Cold.

3. Mixed storyline and a plot twist ending

You will need to pay a little bit more attention when you watch this series. The storyline will be confusing at the very beginning but the tempo slowly builds up. Serving you some flashbacks of Jenny’s previous life (known then as Anya), you will eventually get there to see where all those chaotic moments lead to. An interesting storyline surely won’t make the ending goes flat hence, you will get the ending that you deserve (or maybe the ending that Jenny deserves).

In From The Cold is available on Netflix and has been waiting for your feedback. What do you think of this series? Is it a hit or a miss? Kindly leave your comments down below with NO SPOILERS about the full storyline or the ending.

“Bridgerton” Season 2: All Eyes on Anthony Bridgerton

The hottest gossip among the elites will be spilled again by Lady Whistledown!

(CONTAINED SPOILERS FROM SEASON 1)

Enjoy your tea while reading the most up to date gossip in Society Papers since Bridgerton season 2 is right around the corner. The romance series, which takes place and time during the Regency era will be back to redeem the longing of fans around the world. After successfully reaching the total of 72 million viewers and 625 million hours being watched on Netflix, Bridgerton marked its title as one of the most watched Netflix original series in 2021. The overflowing enthusiasm comes from the settings, storyline, and last but not least the very interesting casts of Bridgerton

To freshen up your memory a little bit, this series focuses on telling the story of the Bridgertons’ love and social life, as one of the elites in an upper class society. In season 1, Bridgerton focused on the love story of the Bridgertons’ eldest daughter, Daphne Bridgerton. Being a young lady during that time had put Daphne in a lot of pressure from society, especially when it came to finding a future husband and getting married. An unanticipated meeting with Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, turned out to create an unexpected spark of romance, as well as twists and turns that were not easy to go through for both of them. However, as the old saying goes, “the heart wants what it wants”, the ending of season 1 was wrapped up by Daphne and Simon’s bittersweet but beautiful love story.

Welcoming season 2, the focus of the story will shift to Anthony Bridgerton as the eldest of the Bridgertons. Anthony, who in season 1, experienced a failure in romance due to the differences of social status, now will be ready for a new chapter in finding true love. Siena Rosso, the opera singer who was his forbidden love interest, will be replaced with new fresh challenging figures for Anthony to deal with. Chris Van Dusen, as the creator and Executive Producer, will go all in to make Anthony’s storyline get even more complicated, as he will experience inner conflict within himself,  between love and duty as the “head” of the Bridgertons.

We pick up Anthony after we’ve seen what he’s been through with his mistress. He’s thinking, ‘Was that love?’ Some would call it that, others would not. We’re exploring those concepts of duty and honor once again.” — Chris Van Dusen in an interview with Variety.

What will await Anthony Bridgerton in this new season? Will he get a happy ending like his sister, Daphne? Find the answers in Bridgerton season 2 which will officially premiere today, March 25 on Netflix.
